What do ya think? It weighs 1/3 of a Ti. muffler. And has carbonfiber packing.
Do i need to change anything?

its definately different looking. If it weights that little then the hardcore guys will def be interested, although, 3" would be nice for serious NA setups.

I think it looks pretty sweet. I'd have to see it tucked up under a '98+ Integra bumper to be sure, but it looks good. Like someone else said, what's the diameter on this thing?

the pressure-wave termination design is nice. Al is nice and lightweight, and much cheaper than Ti.

i'd really like someone to design one which maximizes capacity by extending upward near the spare tire well. more internal volume really helps muffle noise and doesn't have to rely so much on baffles, etc.

although they're far less restrictive than stock, i've never heard a straight-thru muffler sound nearly as quiet (even without a cat in place) as a stock-type design. not the twin-loop, etc. i want as little restriction as possible, but i also demand a quiet system. i know that most people consider the two to mutually exclude eachother, but i've read enough hot-rod articles and seen enough local sleeper- muscle cars to know that it can be done. we just need a big muffler designed to squeeze in the confines of the civic/teg. i'd also like a 3" inlet.

on my personal setup i decided to run a 3" exhaust with no cat, a resonator, and a magnaflow XL 3-chambered 4"X9" muffler with dual 2.25" outlets. internally, it's similar to stock, but with larger tubes which also have perforations. running 3" (NA) means that the exhaust pulses move more slowly than with smaller tubing, since the tubing has more volume to fill before pressure is high enough for the gases to flow toward the back. the muffler isn't exactly free flowing, but the larger exhaust tubing won't choke the engine so much, and the slower flow makes it easier for the gases to navigate through the tubes, perforations, and 'gates' in the baffling in the muffler.

I think its a great idea and i would definately consider it in a future project but can you make it look like a regular muffler? from a business standpoint, you would sell so much more.
