Drilling through carbon fiber! help?
im going to be installin a cf lip and trunk on my lude soon and i need to know in case i need to do any drilling what precautions do i take? also what kind of bit do i use and that thanks.
^ yep!
i use a couple layers of paper masking tape then i start the hole in reverse which will tear the CF less as it doesn't catch as hard. makes for a much smoother hole. also whichever direction you spin the drill, use very light pressure, take your time. and don't forget to support the other side of the CF piece your drilling, or cracks galore!
