I need a good setup for daily driver and occassional track use.
I'm aiming towards performance/comfort. EK drivers please suggest some spring rates.

generally performance/comfort are mutually exclusive. Either you have soft spring rates that offer nothign in performance but ride wonderfully, or you have stiff spring rates that handle wonderfully but you feel every bump on the road and can be punishing to ride on.
The OTS GC rates are somewhat of a happy medium, where they offer significantly better performance than stock and arent that bad of a ride. I would probably recommend somewhere aroung those rates until you decide what you like/can put up with for both aspects. Once you track the car more and understand how it acts, then mess with the springs and swaybars and tires and settings to fine tune.

comfort is a relative thing. I'm running 450 lbs front and 400lbs rear with Koni sport shocks on my 99 Coupe. It handles nice and isn't too harsh on the street. I'm also running 195/60-14 Azenis, so it probably would be harsher with a larger wheel/thin tire.
It will come down to how much you can stand. Many people will ride in cars with a stiffer suspension and don't mind it at all, so it's very subjective. If you have adjustable shocks it will help you as well, so you can dial soft for street and stiffer for track. having GC, you can always swap springs in the future as mentioned above. Many people in the RR/AX forum sell used pairs for about $70-80 a pair, making the change pretty affordable.
that's not necessarily true. Progressive springs can offer a quite comfortable ride and still handle extremely well.
looking at the GC stuff. Personally, if I were you I'd call them directly and tell them what you want to do. They make the springs. They will give you some good advice.
and like was already said...some people can handle stiffer than others. I ran a 12k, 10k set up and it damn near killed my kidneys....but some people like that. I liked 8k,6k.
I'd say pick something on the slightly stiffer side. softer springs are easy to find and can be had for $75-100 pretty much any day of the week. they don't take long to change.

GC sells Eibach springs, they don't make their own. And AFAIK all their springs for the coilovers are not progressive, but linear. I am not 100% sure but I think most of our FWD Honda/Acuras have linear OEM front spring rates because of the weight up there (although they're not as stiff as aftermarket), and progressive in rear. Linear rear springs are what will cause a ride to feel much stiffer.

They do sell our ERS springs. But we also manufacture a line of springs specifically for Ground Control. They will have both Ground Control and Eibach stamped on them.
