just got an R1..some pics
Well my gf's dad decicded to buy the new 06 black R1 last weekend. before this he had a 99 R1 and he sold it to me for a really good deal 
. So now im a happy camper and i took some pics of it.

a pic of my gf's car and my friend who just bought an 06 600 gixxer
cant wait to go riding!

unfortuanatley it is my first bike and it is quite intimidating. I do plan to take the msf course very soon. My friend took it and told me I have to take it. So i trust him and I will. I would have liked to have a 600 but for $2500 I couldnt pass this deal up.

Congrats on the bike.. Yeah definitely take the MSF course. I did and you will learn a lot. My first bike was also an R1. Lots of fun but just give yourself some time to get used to it. You will be fine... RIDE SAFE MAN!!!!

thanks for all the positive replies guys . Im not at all new to the honda scene but definately new to the bike scene. As far as i know the bike has a jet kit, header and exhaust. anyone know of any good boards to learn about bikes?
