how come some eg's i see have this front end




dont mind the lip i know that is after market, just the bumper cover is all im looking at

and others have these



is it only the 4 door that has this front bumper?? and if so what is involved in swaping them?? is it just a direct bolt on?? or do i have to swap the headlights or fenders to??

 

yea i think that bumper is only on the 4door.... i would think it would just be direct bolt on but im not sure......?

 

2dr (coupe and hatch) and 4dr sedan front ends are different: hood, fenders, bumper, corner lights are different. bumpers will swap, but won't align perfectly

thanks for the info and it sucks i hate the front end of the 4 door but i love the sleeper look the 4dr's give it guess if any thing it will help air flow to the intercooler

It can be done and WILL line up...just takes a little work. If you're not confident enough, get it close and then let a bodyshop do the rest. I agree that the 2dr/3dr front bumper looks waaay better.

if u search tthere is many threads out there about this u need a complete swap head light fenders.coups and hatch's have the same front end while 4 doors have a diffrent front end

 

yep 2 different bumpers for the 2 different models the top picture comes on the coupe and hatchback and the bottom one peice grill is on the 4 dors only.
