Default ABS Light after axle change !?

Hello guys.

I searched about this and I came up with nothing !

I just finished up installing some Drive shaft shop Stage 5 axles in my car , I ordered them with ABS rings.

When I went for a drive to see that everything is ok the ABS light came on after about 3 miles of driving , I came home and took off the both front left and right sensors anf gave them a good clean up ( They were dirty ) then I went and took off the negative terminal on the battery for 15 seconds to reset the ABS ECU , The ABS light is still there and I can`t make it to go off !! I also unpluged all the fuses that is located in the ABS fuse box near the engine .

Now I read the codes and it gave me a code 11 , 12 and 36 wich are

Code 11 : Right front wheel sensor. (open/short to body ground or short to power)
Code 12 : Right front wheel sensor. (electrical noise or intermittent interruption)
Code 36 : Right rear outlet solenoid.

Can some one please help me out

I don`t know what to do

Everything was fine before I changed the axles

hmmm, did you actually test to see if the abs does in fact work still?? find a vacant lot with a lot of room, test it out and let us know.

i can't answer your question but i have heard of this with people using aftermarket axles

Sounds like you may have gotten one with out the ABS rings, check to make sure they have them, or see if you can get a pic of the ones that do have it.

I agree, you said you ordered ones with the rings but did you ensure that they were actually there?

Yep, this will happen without the rings that go around the out side of the axle....

if you do have the abs rings, check the teeth on the rings themselves. I was having a similar problem, and come to find out the teeth on one of the rings looked like they were hit with a hammer causing the sensor to go off.

The Rings are there , they were installed from Drive shaft shop .

I cleared out the codes and went for a drive agian , I tryed to stop hard and the wheels lockd so the ABS is not working . Then after 1 mile of driving the ABS light went on again , got home and pulled the codes , this time it got me only 1 code that is code

code 12 : Right front wheel sensor. (electrical noise or intermittent interruption)

I don`t know what else to do !!

I did like typer2k1 told me to do and checked the teeths and on one of the teeths there is a little ding on it !! could this be the problem ? what did you do to the damaged tooth typer2k1 ?

Thanks very much for your help guys

I realy like to keep the ABS system working
