brake and knuckle help...
i have a set of integra front brake assembly off a GS-R and i was wondering what parts could i used from my 94 del sol S stuff... such as:
the wheel bearing
washer (opposite side of rotor) part #1 in this link http://www.hondaautomotivepart...UCKLE
ball joints #4 and down on that link
metal mud gaurd.
i'm asking because that gsr front set has been sitting in JDM land for like 10 years lol. everything seems rusted to ****. so i would like to know if i can use the parts of my EG and just mix them up with that gsr set. TiA

The 94 Del Sol VTEC will have all the same part numbers as the Integra GSR (except calipers are slightly different).
Compare the 94 Del Sol VTEC part numbers with your model Del Sol part numbers to see which parts are the same and therefore cross-over...

The reference numbers on HondaAutomotiveParts.com are just as helpful for crossreferencing parts as long as you compare them with other parts on their website only. Just open a different window for each vehicle model & compare all the numbers side by side. Then you can tell what parts are the same & what are different.
I compared all the reference numbers from the "knuckle" page of the 94 Del Sol VTEC with the 94 Del Sol S and found that the only part numbers (reference numbers) that differ, are the knuckles themselves. The balljoints, axle rings and other parts are all identicle for both models...
Next I compared the parts in the "front brake" category. It turns out that almost every part in this section is different part numbers. I'm guessing that some parts will still cross over (mabey mud guards & hubs), but you will have to test them out to be sure. If you really want good wheel bearings, I suggest you just buy new ones & install those (instead of trying to use your old ones from the Sol). If the bearings don't cross-over properly, that could be dangerouse.

the wheel bearing, hub, and dust sheild are all different.
the Hub's can be cleaned with a wire brush, and "rust remover", i'd replace the wheel bearings, they themselves aren't to much money, but most shopes LOVE to charge 70 bucks a side to install them.
