Default can i use D15B thermostat on B18C R engine ??

ok so i ordered a thermostat from my local honda dealer

i gave them my chassis number cuz they are pretty useless in selling parts without a chassis number

they sent me a p08 thermostat, which i found out its for a d15b motor

rang them and they insisted that it is the correct thermostat for my b18c r engine

thanks

Try looking in an online catalogue and cross-checking the part numbers for the thermostat, it very well could be the same. Or call Autozone and ask, I dunno.

Cross reference them from the online catalog. I don't see why they couldn't be the same. It's just a thermostat, no need to get fancy and reengineer it. Pop it and give it a go.
