hey, im planning on getting a set but i was wondering if anyone has ran into this problem, a few local parts shops have been telling me that a few people have had the problem that after they are installed, and a bunch of accesories are turned on, they cause a bunch of shizz to burn out such as fuses and stuff? anyone?

Providing you wire them correctly they will be as reliable as any accesory, it's as simple as that.

 

if everything is wired up correctly, you won't have any problems....I have HIDs hooked up into my JDM fogs, and I don't have any problems at all. I've only had them hooked up for about 2 months now..

I have had no problems, and I've been running them since 2002. And I run hids and a big system. But no problems here. I say those shops are full of **** and you can hook em up yourself.
