STOLEN: San Diego: Crx Si Red
***** Recovered! *****
My CRX was found on the side of the freeway at 4AM this morning. Apart from the dead battery, mechanical seems fine. Stereo, floor mats, spare tire?, and stock Si rims were gone.... But she is back! A new project...

Well, I went to go home after work today, and the CRX was gone. It is a bone stock '89 Si. Just rebuilt the motor 700 miles ago....
Licence plate is 4BIT954. It has some mismatched color on body panels, and had roof racks when stolen. Last seen 10am 3/29. Parked near UCSD in San Diego. Also, the plates were expired and I had a red temp in the window.
Sucks, sucks, sucks, I have had this car since '98, and was the second owner....I don't have much hope, but anything helps... Please keep an eye out all you SoCal friends....

No autolock on the clutch? No fuel pump kill switch, switches, or relay to a hidden magnetic switch or something?

None worth posting... The pic in my avatar looks like crap, but that is it. Stock, faded Rio Red. Roof rack and OEM bra. Otherwise a nice clean Si.
Damm it was nice.... Seats had covers on for 140K, they were mint. Interior was in great condition... And motor literally had 700 miles on new rings, rebuilt head.... Damm, damm, damm....

No, nothing on the security end. I just rebuilt the motor and got a new sunroof last month. It still looked like crap paint wise, peeling tint on the windows and everything...and I was planning on an alarm/etc when I got it repainted this summer. A bit too late...
Looking for photos, but they are all of motor/etc. Will post any of exterior I find.... Hope my next car is a Honda...

thats what wee all get for living in cali lol...thieves make so much money off stealing one car and if they get caught here they get slapped on the hand and get told to not to do it again...I know how you feel and been down that road last year my red crx was stolen at my house withen 10 MINUTES of me going back and forth to get something out of my car...next person I cetch in my car will be shot if i cetch them in the action and just burry the ****** and be one less to worry about :-)

What part of SD do you live?? I know some piece of **** old friend of mine that is running around SD stealing cars. Tell me what area your in and I might be able to find out if he has it.
