what would win in this case?
I thought my biggest competition for 2006 was the 2006 rsx type s with a whopping 4 more horsepower than my si and i was just in my freinds 2005 rsx type s and i wanted to race him and hes like i will smoke you i said no way dude and he said his car had 220hp and i was like no how can it have more than the 2006 and he whipped out his owners manuel and showed me where it said 220hp..then i looked into it a little and i saw how only the 2005 rsx type s has some upgraded engine mod's giving it a boost of horsepower from to 200 - 210...i dont know what to believe. i guess im just gonna have to race him
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK???

Unless he did an ITR swap, he doesnt have 220hp. The 05/06 rsx-s's have the same exact engine. The numbers are different because the way the horsepower was rated changed. (SAE ratings) Anyways, if both of your cars are stock its going to come down to who's the better driver.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the new Si motor a K20Z3?
... and it has balance shafts (2), drive by wire, as well as a MAP and MAF (mass air flow) sensor!

Yeah, but what does that have to do with 05/06 rsx's having the same engine?
