it could be a lot of things. most likely would be o2 sensor and driving. (keep it at or under 3k)

You can try cleaning it, it works for some people.

If you get hestitation at low RPM in addition to poor gas mileage, it might very well be your O2 sensor. Mine did the same thing, and I never had a CEL. Replaced it, now no hesitation and better gas mileage

Just get one of those off eBay, much cheaper than anywhere else

definately the symptoms of a o2 on its way to the death factory. You know what i really expletiving hate about o2 sensors, is that on their way to death they never throw a CEL like anything else. And their death is never fast, its this long aggrivating problem until you finally bog on launches below 2.5k and get like 5 miles a gallon. its ridiculous

not brake cleaner. carb cleaner. and the 02 is just one part that can cause that. worn spark plugs and wires, cap + rotor can also do that...

spark plugs, cap n rotor, wires are in good shape. So carb cleaner would clean it right? wont kill my o2 sensor?

EGR causes this as well. not just the valve but all the EGR ports can clog too. dealing with this tomorrow myself.

yeah avoid unless you have to. switch with someone as a test if possible. might save you money. they are about $280-$300 new, unless you want to splice it in yourself. not hard, only 4 wires

Damn that is a good price on both. Wonder if they are refurbished. Come to think of it can you even refurb an O2 sensor?
