how to get stripped shock off
ok i get my koni yellows via fedex tomorrow, and im going to be installing them this weekend with some eibach pros (couldnt pass the deal i got)
now some remember me saying my rear passenger shock is stripped on the top where you need the hex and the cresent wrench.
Would it be eaiser for me to buy a new tophat and pieces or what is going to be the eaisest way to get the tophat off the stripped shock?
thanks everyone

I used a screw puller and inserted it into the stripped hex head hole. Then held it and was able to turn the nut while the shaft remained still.

That, or just hacksaw through the shaft, since you're not going to be reusing the shock anyway.
