is there any difference between the two. length and strength?

besides the pistons the bottom end of both engines are identical. the head is identical too, but we ALL already know this

what is the diameter of the b20 pistons? if its 81mm then how is it making more displacement if the bottom end is the same?

the rod length is not 89mm, the stroke is.

yeah, the rods are like 130 or something. doesnt matter because they are the same as the ls

the b20 with 81mm u refering to is the B20a with 95mm stroke. b20b/z 89mm stroke.

he's not

anyway displacement is

bore * bore * stroke * .0031416 = total displacement of the engine

84*84*89*.0031416 = 1972cc's or 1.9L's


81*81*95*.0031416 = 1958cc's for the b20a5/b20a3 not sure if you were asking this or not...
