Default Si gauges, Ex cluster

00 Si cluster + 96-00 Ex cluster

Is there a topic of discussion on Hybrid Clusters? Searched but didnt find any GOOD info.

Reason being is, i have a Si cluster that seems to be messed up from when i bought my si. I was wondering if there was any threads on how to use the Si gauges on a Ex cluster or anythng.

TIA

If theres not any discussion, hopefully this will start some...

What's to calibrate? You will be using the same vss and everything. What are you swapping out?

You mean swap the Si gauge faces? This is going to be tricky. I've successfully swapped the Si speedo gauge face onto an EX speedo, however, after 80 mph it will become inaccurate since the spacing of the numbers are different after 80 mph. For the tach, I broke the needle pin trying to remove the needle. I don't recommend this. I haven't attempted the fuel/temp gauge since the needles are smaller and are more prone to be broken when trying to remove them.

I had a broken Si cluster to begin with and tried to swap over the faces into my friend's EX cluster.
