cant get jackstands under car :|
hey guys
this weekend i would like to install my springs, but i tried jacking the car up from the front and the rear (by the tow hook), however, it doesnt seem like i can get jackstands to fit under my car at all.
i really dont want to go out to buy a larger jack just for lowering, so are there any ideas / tips that i might be missing?
thanks

Just do one coner at a time. Then you don't have to jack it any higher than getting the tire off the ground...
Make sure it won't be so low that you can't get the jack out from underneath (seriously)...

You don't have to drive it onto stacks until after it's lowered. You may have to set it down onto stacks of wood after you alter that corner of the suspension though. Just make sure when you switch to working on the back end of the car (if you do the front first), you remove the wood from under the front tires. You don't want the car to fall off the blocks while your working on it...
I have to drive up on blocks of wood before I can get the jack under the car
Either do that or use the factory jack on the sides in order to raise the car enough for your regular jack.
