Default Lower Heat Shield on JDM 4-1 Header...How important is it?

I have bottomed out the car once and heat shield saved me. However, now it rattles and I find it really annoying. The header is Jet-Hot coated and I don't want the coating to be damaged by rocks. Otherwise, I am not too worried.

Any reasons not to take it off? I mean the car is not lowered and I don't hit stuff (usually).

I am selling the header in 3 months or so (whenever my SMSP header gets made) so I just need a temporary fix for it.

IF you already have it and have it on, just leave it. Especially if you plan on selling it. Low ballers will look for any reason to drop the price lower. Who cares about the noise. Mines rattles like hell. hahaha
