How much fluid did you suck up? Did you let the car die and then sit for 30 mins? Realistically, any car with mileage on it should smoke. The smoke is usually so bad it looks like something is on fire.

it will smoke and smell like absolute **** while on the sea foam. but afterwards, you will feel a much smoother engine.
i used to seafoam, and add oil additive.....
clean the motor, do an oil change, then get decent gas and octane booster or injector cleaner. car loved me.

I would say its a gamble..Because seafoam really cleans and removes some of the carbon..and on some motors like high mileage and beat motors,,the carbon is the only thing holding everything together..

I used it at 200,000 it is safe. Through the IM only not in the crankcase. I'll let the motor oil do that.

It will only smoke if you used it in the IM not in the crankcase.
I have used it on numberous cars and have had no ill affect.

seafoam rawks
used it my hatch a couple of weeks ago and have nothing but good things to say. idles smoother, has more power and seems to get better gas mileage. i added 1/3 in the IM, 1/3 in the crank case and the rest in the gas tank. my car was very happy afterwards.
