Please stop, you are wrong. The HF is already MPFI. It is the only other MPFI 4th gen (Si). If you are using your HF transmission, then the mounts are the same and you will need a pm7, pm6 or pg7 ecu. You do not want the HF ecu running the ZC.

the HF ECU will run the engine, just not very well - you need PM6 ECU from 88-91 CRX/Civic Si - your HF flywheel will bolt right to the engine (make sure you use the manual flywheel bolts) and you can use your transmission - use your HF engine harness on the new engine - you will have no wiring changes, but you will have one connector left over that won't be needed, that went to the EGR valve on the HF - be sure to mark all connectors on the engine harness, as to where they go, as some can be switched
I also have a SOHC ZC in my '89 CRX Si. Yes, like they said it is a direct swap. Everything will swap over. Do use a CRX Si ecu though as was previously stated (ebay is cheap) or the car will suck. Mine runs pretty nicely. Heres a list of what I have in my car.

I have a 90 CRX HF and I also have a SOHC ZC. All the mounts line up fine. The fuel injection needs to be swapped over. the best way to do this is to take it to a shop and have it done or you can also send your stock engine harnesss to rywire.com and they can wire in the injectors for you. there are a couple other sensors that work on the DPFI that wont meet up with your MPFI so you will have to have someone check those out and wire them correctly. as for the flywheel, it should work as long as everything lines up. the best way is just to try it out and make sure...

Well, 84-87 ones werent. But I get your point. 88-91 CRX HF's are all MPFI.
