Default What OBD??'s

I've searched but couldn't find exactly what i'm looking for... But I've got a 97 del sol and need a conversion harness to OBD1... There is a guy locally that is selling one from a 99 Civic... Now I think that from 96-98 the cars (del sol, civic, integra) were all OBD2a and 99-00 or 01 were all OBD2b... And his harness won't work on my car since it's an OBD2b right??? Am I on the right track?

TIA

Except this part:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Split Image Prez &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Now I think that from 96-98 the cars (del sol, civic, integra) were all OBD2a</TD></TR></TABLE>

Integra's were still OBD2a in 1999, which means that year ECU will be plug-n-play with a 96-98 Civic chassis too.

Ok so if the harness came out of a 99 civic then it's OBD2B right? thanks

A 99 Civic harness would indeed be OBD2b, which won't work in your 97 Del Sol.

stoopid monkey: Your link is broke.
