Default B16a SiR-II Redline?

My 170hp sir b16 swap redlines at 7800. But dont stock b16's usually rev to 8200~? The tachs that come in the b16a2 equiped del sols redline at 8200 or so just curious why my sir-ii wont. Are they supose to be different? Can anyone confirm the redline of the 170hp model b16?

Thanks

Also forgot to add, im using the p28 ecu, the one that came in my single cam z6. Without it being chipped for the dohc vtec can that have a big effect on it? Also have a p30 ecu that came with the swap and it also redlines at the same spot. help ;(

the ecu is what sets the revlimeter not the motor, use a p30 and it will be 8200, p28 is lower.
