b20b in 92 da9
I just recently purchased a crv mill(b20b) i am planning on a crv-tec setup in the summer time, but in the mean time i plan on dropping the motor in to get a feel of the stock b20, i know that it is pretty much a ls motor wit a lil more displacement, but in order to drop it in my car what do i have to change? I currently got my stock ls under the hood with custom piping into stock muffler and an intake, i also have jdm b16 cable tranny, do i need to swap intake manifolds to make it fit? Please help me out, i checked for other post and the ones i found didnt really say anything, so any suggestions would help!
I have a stock B20z in my 91 OBD0 da and it was very simple. I used the stock DA IM and the stock DA EM. I extended the fan switch wires and used the stock LS driver side bracket mount. I'm using the PR4 and my car runs like stock.

Yeah. And just swap everything over from your old block like the water neck thats on the back of the block also so you dont have extra plugs. only main difference is the fan switch wires and you can extend them to the coolant temp sensor on the end of the water neck where the thermostat is. also gotta change the driver side timing belt mount to the DA one and use the same brakets/mounts from the DA. Otherwise, the block is no different on the outside, just 84mm on the inside. Use the your old obd-0 IM if you dont want to reroute hoses or sensors but no probs there. Use your old obd-0 TB or youll have to reroute your map sensor plug.
