Default First Time on Nitrous

Im gonna be runnin a 35shot this thursday at the track on our mini me hatch. This will be my first time, the system im using will only spray once open throttle, no button it just turns on at wot. Im only gonna spray once- grudge match against some local dude saying honda is ****...blah. Ive never liked nitrous, but ive always been curious. What i wanna know is, will the motor be fine. I know some people spray so much more and its only gonna be one pass- im just paranoid and would like to hear what you guys think on the subject. Ive searched and only came across just one guy in a cx that wants to blow his motor. So...any advice would be nice. laterz

i used 45 shot on my stock sohc mini-me (same thing, squeezes at WOT with no buttons or anything). You will be fine. Just make sure you turn your climate control on hot and let the air in your car. That way you can feel it if your motor is over heating. keep and eye on the temp guage. make sure you dont squeeze for more than like 8 seconds. You'll be fine. I beat a gsr with mine

You should be fine. I would run some brand new spark plugs and just make sure that the bottle is warm enough.

yah pickin them up tommorow in the morning, gonna start gettin car ready. I everytime i talk about taking the car to the track, i drive it somewhere and something goes wrong. After talking to my friends about spraying a 35 shot thursday drove it back home, the hose from the intake manifold popped off and started heating up like..what the heck! only me. Anyways yah i'll post up pics/vids if possible and slips and results. laterz

from personal experiences you can run up to a 55 on 93, safely make sure u take your cat off and don't spray off the line you'll run like a 17.7 at like 105 no traction. AND TAKE OFF YOUR CAT

i will definatly go buy those ngks, i wanted to when we changed them out the first time but only one place carries them and they were out so we used bosch. yeah unfourtanately i dont have a switch...so...i dunno how this is gonna work i might just half gas it in first and floor it once i hit second or sumtin, but i'll practice like...once...i dont wanna spray to much cuz i dont really like the stuff just wanna give it a try. worst thing i wanna do is break something just cuz i wanna try it. Anyways thanx, and hopefully i will take the win.
