As you may know I recently installed one of the BLING manifolds from obx. Well it was complete **** at best. So i went out and bought a skunk 2 pro series one. All I can say is wow. This thing really makes its moneys worth. SOOOOOOO much better than that obx ****. Only 2 minor problems occured. 1. is that the IAT sensor had to be shaved a LITTLE bit to fit in the locaton for it. The second is that the EACV did not clear the fire wall so i jus banged a small section in it and it fits fine. Other than that this thing works great. According to the trusty butt dyno i got around 8-12 horses. VERY noticeable increase in power from 3500 rpm and above. The inatke is louder for those who care, but sounds nice. All in all I say this manifold is well worth the money.

Y8 head, Chipped ecu(Thank jdmhatchness) header,exhaust, exedy clutch, Skunk 2 manifold, gsr thorttle body, and umm......i think thats it.

Can I see a pic of it up against the firewall? In previous threads, it was concluded that this thing didn't fit.

 

What throttle body are you using?

 

I was using the gsr throttle but it was sticky, so i have a z6 on there until i fix the gsr one in likea day or to, and i will take pictures of were it hit later today

 

I've installed the Skunk Pro and OBX for people, same reviews. OBX sucked, Skunk was an improvement

You should atleast resell the OBX intake manifold on ebay, some dumbass will pay you a lot of money for it. That way you get some money back on your loss investment. That's what I would do, but that's me.

 

I do plan on sellin the obx manifold for sumthing, just so i can get sum money back on it. Sorry cant just give it away. I paid 255 for the skunk 2 manifold from axiom(local shop) Great investment IMO.
