I have a boosted 1991 crx with a b16a2 and 11 psi on a total stock block, act 6 puck clutch and no MSD. I also have Hondata and the launch control. Car weighs 2200 with driver on the scale. Last month I ran 225-50 15 drag radials with 10 psi of air, 2nd gear burnout. I turned a 13.4 sec at 112 mph. 60fts were 2.6, 2.4.
I spent the money and bought m @t 24.5 -8 15" slicks. I am a terrilbe driver because my mph should have me in the 12 sec range. My question since this is my second time and no practice what should I launch the car at? and what psi should I run the slicks at for starters? I have 10psi now, still looks full.
I'm going this weekend. just want to break into the 12 possilbe 11.8 sec.
Car has stock axles.

 

Use the launch control, set the tires around 7-8 psi and do second gear burnouts.

 

what to set it at? 3500 rpm 5000rpm I'm new to this.
