Default couple of ?'s

1. how do people on here feel about hondata? as in is there better or is it one of the best systems for tuning.

2. can you put aftermarket cams(bigger cams) in a stock h22 head with out hurting anything? i heard you have to get valve train work done first.

ive been reading about this and alot of people have alot of different opinions.

1.i have a VAFCII and feel that it is fine with cams unless you are going for boost. i see people with hondata usually upgrade to some ems (engine management system) from aem. it all depends on what your setup is on how detailed an EMS you need.

2. u can put the type s cams or a stage 1 from crower or skunk 2 w/o upgrading the valvetrain.

anything stage 2 and above need a better valvetrain , plus u can rev higher with it

hope this helps

If you are getting bigger cams, its generally a good idea to upgrade the valve train.

If you haven't made up your mind about Hondata, take a look at Neptune.

what if your motor doesnt rev high, is the valve train still needed with bigger cams? is the aggresiveness of the cams the puts strain on the drivetrain or is it reving high trying to reach peak hp?
