Quick ways to drop a couple tenths.
Ok, so I have a CRX Si with A B16, Y1 with LSD, Traction bar, H&R springs, I/H/E with AEM short ram, short shifter, normal bolt on stuff. Last time I went to the track I didnt have a traction bar and got a 14.7 2.4 60t on shitty dunlop tires, full interior/ exhaust. This time I have the traction bar, VX wheels with Yokohama R (soft) compound tires road racing tires on. I was thinking about taking out the passenger seat, taking off the muffler/tale seciton of the exhuast, and maybe removing my filter/headlight. I really want to get below a 14.5. What else can I do real quick besides more practice to drop some time. Do you think any of that will make a difference providing I can drive it. (hopefully, ha)
With more seat time the car should do 14.5's all day full interior.
My buddy has a heavy *** SIR RHD from japan still a/c and p/s car and full interior goes low-mid 14's with some bolt on's and tuned with chrome.
