205/50/16 circuit 8; fitment issue.
Hello, I recently aquired a set of 16" rota circuit 8's, I'm not sure off the offset, But they are wrapped with 205/50/16. I'm having a great deal of rubbing. So i'm assuming the offset is wrong, or the tire is to large, as in the 50series. Maybe if i run a 205/40/16? How would One go to find the offset on the rim? Any input would be greatly appricated if anyone has a minute to post. Thanks Joel
The tire is much too large in diameter (6.3 percent larger than stock). 205/40-16 is definitely the correct 16" size for your size (0.8 percent smaller than stock in diameter). Unless the offset is way off, 205/40-16 should work.

The proper tire size depends on the car, not just on the wheels.
Based on your username, it sounds like you have a '96-00 Civic Coupe or Civic Sedan. If so, the best 16" tire size for your car is 205/45-16.
