so i changed my axles out today...got it all done for free but i had to do the work bc my dad never told my his friend owns a shop that makes axles and all that good stuff. so anyways they got me some axles and i installed them my self..i didnt believe Sabastian or 4doorh22 when they told me it was gonna be an easy job..but anyways it was a snap...bout an hour all together...but the weird thing was that on the passenger side the axle had already been replace with an aftermarket one...but it wasnt for a 94-97 it was a 90-93....how is this possible? the axle was about .5 inches shorter. now whenever i need to work on my car i can use his lift and all the tools i need...its like i was in heaven!! thanks guys!!

Well, the axles also telescope a bit, so probably can make up for that 1/2 difference. Not ideal but should work.

no it wasnt..thats whats the weird thing...they measured it like 3 times

 

but whatever...it dont matter now...now since i didnt spend a dime...not i can get my timing belt and all that good stuff done now....i know we've covered this many many many many many many times...so ill just ask for the hell of it...actually no im not....but why does this shop down here wanna do a 90k service and also do the timing belt and all the other things? its gonna be about 5 bills from them...go elsewhere im guessing!?
