you mean to tell me the carb ref can accualy tell the diffrence between the skun2 IM and a stock ITR one?

a little OT, but i heard something about DC Sports and how ur car would only be carb legal with that one part on? so if you had a aem cai itd make it illegal cuz the rest of the car isnt stock? i dunno somethin like that

 

Umm, guys, I think he has a GSR, not an ITR. You can definitely tell the difference between the GSR and Skunk2 manifolds just by looking at them.

Anyways, I've heard of stories where some peeps were able to pass smog with the Skunk2 right here in Cali. With no hookups, nothing shady, no BS. I believe the vacuum routing would definitely be different with the Skunk2 (correct me if I'm wrong) and some smog technicians make sure all of that is in the right place when smogging, so I was wondering the same thing. I would try contacting Skunk2 and asking them about that, since on their website it does in fact say "will not affect emissions", or something to that effect. In the meantime, I'll ask some of my mechanic buddies for ya...they might be able to give me the lowdown, so that I can pass it on to ya...
