I use the portflow inners with itr outers on my super simple setup. I think this setup will stand up to some pretty high lift cams, or so I've heard. But I mean if you're gonna run ti retainers I would just get springs/retainers that snap-fit together.

ok i did a crap load of searching (whitch i should have done first) and it seems to me that the portflow inners and type r outers are a great combo... but it seems to me that the guy that sold me the valve train (2000 type r) sold me one totally different valve spring for the exhaust.. it is thicker ans stronger then all the rest..... now my question is can i use my b16 exhaust outter with the portflow inners and be ok to 9k?????
i know that the exhaust outters are stronger then the intakes on a factory b16....

I ran the portflow inner itr outer with Toda b cams for years without any issues. Except schredding a timing belt up. Then about 100 other people did the same thing. But it wasnt a spring problem its belt tension problem

If anyone else gets some good info, let me know your opinions on just the Portflow inners with my stock B16 outers. Not making a wild setup. Probably Blox Spec. A's with supertech valves and ITR pistons. Not really looking for over 8500rpm's unless im still making power.

Werd. I figure as much, but I was just looking for some experience.
Wanna buy some BuddyCLub Spec 4's?
