Default noOb: Can Stainless Steel be welded to mild steel?

i going to have a custom stainless downpipe made, but i cant find a stainless 4-bolt discharge flange... can the mild steel flange be welded to stainless piping?

or even better, does anyone know where i can find a stainless 4-bolt discharge flange?

Yes be sure to use 309L Filler to join them together.

ebay has them and kteller had them, but not sure. Do a google search for turbo flanges, and you'll find a couple, but SS is really expensive. Like $50-60 a pop.
