Mini Battery?
Does anybody know of a mini battery for our cars(95 Civic). I have done the HT search.....and there was nothing on mini batteries.....I am very surprised about that. I know that the mini batteries way abou 10-15lbs, and ours weigh about 40lbs or so.
I guess thats what they are called. I had one on my EVO, from Buschur racing...and I think it was sold as a "mini battery kit". I just wanted to know if anyone has one for our cars. I am doing an H22 swap next month so I wanted to clean up the engine bay, and lose a couple of pounds(out of the front end of the car)

I think you can just use any motorcycle battery, just make sure it's outting out enough power, has enough cold cranking amps, etc.; it's been discussed hundreds of times before, you just don't know how to search. Check out

Hey guys.....I just got off the phone with them. This battery weighs less than 15lbs. It has a 2 year warranty, and they said that it has a normal life anywhere from 8-12 years. The battery is the 680MJT, and the cost is $102.95+$10.50 for shipping. I am going to use this in my car...and I just wanted to let everyone know the info that I found on it. Here is the link again.

it is worth the money and not a single battery is as shock resistant as a Braille or has a better warranty.

how much do stock honda batteries actually weigh? i just bought one from sears last year, and it was NO WHERE near 40 lbs...i lifted it like it was nothing....id say 15-20 lbs MAX. im all about weight reduction though, it does add up and make a big difference. so if you can find a battery that weighs 12 lbs for 100$ as opposed to your $50 20lb....if you have the money do it. cause the weight does add up.

I have seen Braille warranty batteries over 3 years old....
As long as you are completely honest with them with your intentions witht eh battery, then you are fine.
they are a smaller company with better customer service....BY FAR

the only thing that stands out among Braille's competitors is the fact that NRG batteries are deepcycle whgich means that they are completely unnefected by the battery being completely drained and recharged.
