I dont understand the overall look you are trying to go for.

Make it into a racecar

cage, seats, slammed, big FMIC, 16" max wheels, R compounds, and throw all the APC stuff in the trash.

 

get rid of hood, headlights, and get some smaller wheels and it would then look pretty clean.

 

1. smaller wheels, and a nice drop will give it a better look
2. projector headlights (get rid of them)

other then that, ur on the way, just needs a lil TLC

 

Just my personal opinion..

Rims aren't bad looking, just too big. I know you can't shrink them, but I would think about a different set.

The muffler needs to be welded up again..is way to far under the bumper.

The headlights just basically look cheap, I never liked Halos.

Also, I would take off that black strip around the wheel wells, it cleans up the appearance of the car a lot for such a little change.

Edit: and the fogs..just basically look cheap.

 

i like it overall. I would KEEP the wheels, they're bigger than the normal "HT approved size" which is a good thing. That means you dont have to look like 40 other ******** with the same rims, tires and car. Remove that fender lining and drop it just a bit more, it'll look wicked.

one thing i hate, a lot...those headlights.

honestly, i do NOT like it. and i really don't want to seem too negative so here goes:

- lose those pos headlights, they absolutely suck, both to the eye and in terms of output.

- that hood looks really ghey, i mean is there a real need for that intake vent? you don't have a top mount intercooler.

- those fog lights look hella lost in your big front grill, a set of oem replicas would have been close to that price (100 shipped on ebay)

- the rims are hideous at best, i mean that look fits with the whole f&f riceboy theme on kitted cars, but your car is not kitted.

- the muffler you have is really ricey, and will only lead to more police attention, can you afford that in california?

- tints turning purple, basically a sign of using the "new shop special $80" tint job, that is dyed tint they used, and will only fade out and look like crap within a yr or two. if you must have tint, go get yourself in touch with a shop that uses metallic/metallized tints (not chrome, don't get the two confused) or a hybrid film. a couple good brands are sungard, llumar, johnson, solargard, and the rest you can find out about at tintdude.com

- the rear wing and tails are hot, as well as the lower lip but the four bolts showing lose whatever style points you had with that lip.

i think you need to really step back, and stop ordering crap all over t3h intArweb, and create a "theme" for your car, then carry it out.

i really am trying my best to "help" you through constructive criticism, and i can only hope you don't take offense to my comments. i'm merely stating my honest opinion, and i think most will feel that it is definitely thorough.

Looks incomplete, as if you started aproject , but never got around to finishing it.

 

Put back the oem headlights.

 

Thanks for the comments guys... Here is what how i would sum them all up in order of concern:

The Headlights: Yeah, I picked them up for 100 bucks... thought they were way cool for awhile and now i am up in the air... why i really got them was becasue of the fact that my OEM ones were turning yellow.

The Hood: Not too sure why it is hated on, but i kinda like it... i know it is not JDM but hey, like i said i wanted opinions. plus i got it for 100 bucks

The rims: I like the 17's but i am looking for 16s, plus they were 300 bucks for all 4 with tires. As for the small brakes, that pic is of the rear disc conversion and i am upgrading the brakes soon!

The foglights: $20...Harbor freight

Theme/Plan: I started out wanting all the "cool" parts, And now I have gone all into suspension... koni yellows, eibach sportlines, suspension techniques front and rear sway bars, and custom tie bars... I am just about finished with suspension i think... i want to handle better, but that is an uphill battle... give me a path i should take, i dont really wanna ditch the hood, but i am up for headlight ideas... Also, the muffler, is back to stock, since i have a b18b now, i dont want any extra noise attention

 

this pretty much sums up my thoughts.

that style was so 1999.

I with you. but it does look like the muffler was welded on before the rear lip was added. so it covers a tad.

 

it doesnt flow

 

a set of smaller wheels(maybe 15" or 16"), a new front lip, and a new set of oem or black housing headlights would do wonders for that car.
