Default B18C1 Bolt-on choices.

I have a B18C1 and so far I have,

B18C1
GSR tranny
JG 65mm throttle body
JG intake mantifold
JG header
Mugen chipped p28
ITR cams
Skunk2 adjustable cam gears
PasswordJDM Powerchamber Intake

I'm going to have my motor fully built in the summer, I've heard that I'm losing alot of midend power with my current tb/im setup. I'm thinking of going back with the oem gsr tb/im with the itr header, or get ITB with the itr header. Which will produce more power and get me a better 1/4 time?

Thanks in advance!

just get a complete swamp, it is the best bang for your buck! i had a '99 GSR with a JDM ITR swap that came with lsd, gears, and much more. But make sure the swap is '98 or newer. i tried everything to my B18C1 which included a skunk2 IM, skunk2 exhaust, test pipe, chipped CPU, skunk2 cam gears, intake, and even tried a DC header which i pinched shut do to my car being to low and all this was a waste because as soon as i got that JDM ITR swap in it made everything else seem like a waste...... that will deff give u a better 1/4 mile time! oh and by the way the ITR cams wont do that much in the b18c1 engine.

Lose the JG Victor X manifold. Get some good engine management and invest in tuning.

I agree as well.

That manifold is too much for your setup. Something along the lines of an AEBS/Blox/S2 manifold would suit you better.

Also, tuning=deciding factor on how reliable/fast your car will ultimately be.
