I hate Spoon
Been waiting over 3 months now for a header and springs..What are they doing over there? They have a terrible production rate or something. If i had known it takes this long i wouldv'e went Comptech. Is it always this bad to get some Spoon parts? My last R was stolen before i could mod it and my night-mare is that the same will happen to this one...Dayyum, guess i just gotta be patient

Spoon was slow in production of the headers. Please remember they are hand made, They are not a mass produced item. The headers ordered on the Header special from January are slated to arrive Last week of April - First week of May

Oh well, guess it's worth the wait right? I'm taking a lot of ish from my friend who's had his WRX for only a few months and has bought a dozen parts and put his car in the 12s before i even got a header

Well if anyone looking for Spoon header please let me know. I still have one in stock from the ones I recieved in Jan.
Spoon is more mass production then say Mugen as my dist. in Japan said normally there is only 1-2 month delay on any Spoon orders. I asked about the header and he said they just sent out 30 some spoon headers to europe plus other itmes. But according my friend there Spoon will always fill out Japanese orders before overseas ones. But he said 3 month delay from spoon is very odd but it's common with OEM parts sometimes or Mugen. But part of any delay now according my dist. and friends there is because Spoon and Mugen and just about every other popular company there is slowly phasing out DC2 parts. Slow selling items where normally sold in what I call yard sales as they where let go for next to nothing pricing to just make room and to get what back they put back into them.

If you have problems or delays I can direct you to dealership in France which should be closer to you and they do stock Mugen and Spoon items on normal basis but then I heard there last order from Japan was 140k in US dallors. So they are doing pretty well for them selves.

Well that could be one there fellow dealerships in France.
Fair Imports my dist. referre's us to tell all European customers to goto is the Fair Imports in Saiguede France.
Where all part of same dealer and dist. network. My dist. is hoping we can do the same here in the states as the European dist. have.
Buying from France is normally even cheaper for UK citizens due to exchange rates and they just being across from the english channel. About the only reason to get parts inside of the UK with VAT is if the shop is doing all the install work.
