Tell me about jdm H22A auto transmission reliability issues
I am curious to see what the h-t Prelude guys with experience running the jdm H22A auto trannies (lsd) have to share about this transmission regarding reliability issues. I currently have an f23 auto tranny in my 98 Accord that is failing (found this to be an extremely poor auto tranny) and am waiting on the H22A swap with the lsd auto tranny I recently ordered.
What is the failure rate on these auto trannies? Do they hold power (about 200whp) consistenly? I've read a few posts about this topic but would love to hear more feedback from you guys!
TIA for any help

i got about 170 whp on mine and it seems to be holding up. i drive really hard consintanly manual shift around 7200. I did throw a transmission cooler on it and threw in some lucas to keep it decent.

How long has it been holding up? I plan on going with a tranny cooler as a precaution and am looking for some very long term action out of this tranny
