fuel injector filter ?
i had taken off all the fuel injectors cause i was rebuilding the head off of my 89 crx si (d16a6). Anyways i was putting every thing back together when i noticed that the fuel injectors have a little filter on them at the end where they connect to the fuel rail. i lost two of those and i cant seem to find them any where (stores). My question is if it is okay to run the injectors with out them for right now cause im low on cash right now and i cant afford to buy all new injectors.
mine has them. its a small filter that slides inside of the injector and goes in between the the fuel rail and injector. No its not the o ring or the cushion that im talking about.
got it - yes, you should be able to run it without them - sort of like a second line of defense for something getting thru to clog the injector
thats what i was thinking. it maybe came with the injector. dunno anyways im just gonna run them with out them. Im thinking it shoudnt hurt it since thier is so many filters before that. thanks

Most people don't realize these filters are there. I have seen them clog and cause problems. You can see them here: http://www.ecrater.com/p/11499016/ho...honda+injector
