One of the few odd-ball builds, but this is my attempt at an all motor nonVTEC set-up. So far, I have just about everything for them to be installed on to my car. I just ordered a set of brand new OEM valve keepers yesterday, so I'm waiting on that before I can have everything put together.
Here's the set-up:
Block:
Stock B18B1
(Don't tell me to throw in some high comp. pistons... I have my reasons. PLEASE!
)
Head:
PR4
Ported & Polished
Milled .030"
SuperTech Ti Retainers
Crower Dual valve springs
Crower 0.5mm over-size valves
3 Angle valve job
Thermal Shield IM Gasket
JG Edelbrock Victor-X IM
Stock TB <--- will upgrade
2.5" 2pc CAI (or SRI) <--- currently looking for a 3" intake pipe
Gude Stg.3 AICS07 Cams
AEM Cam-gears
AEM Fuel Rail
B&M FPR
ARP Headstuds
Exhaust:
GReddy 4-2-1 <--- Shitty, I know... but works okay for now
Carsound 2.25" semi-gutted cat.
2.5" (2.25" bottle-neck right after the cat) stainless piping
OEM ITR Axleback/muffler
I'm shooting for 160-170whp after tune

I already have brand new ARP headstuds, I just forgot to list 'em
I'm leaving the block stock for personal reasons.

Sadly, the stock LS tranny.
Hopefully I can find a B16 tranny for sale locally... it's just kind of hard for me to trust used parts that I don't know the history of, Lol.

I would save some money and still have more power by using stock head with upgraded springs/ retainers and put a nice set of Honda PCT's in that thang. Trust me!!!
8.42 1/8th with stock head/ Crower 404's (matching valve train)/ and PCT's.
Just my 2 cents.

Let's just say that I didn't spend as much money as most people would have with similar set ups.

Something personal isn't meant for others to know/understand. I'm not aiming for 13's.

Good Stuff.Like to see fellow LS tuners out there. We just did a motor for a friend on my team. B18b bottom end, 10.5 comp pistons,Peak rods,Arp rod bolts,Gude cams & built head, t-body,Peak intake manifold, the whole deal.Breaking it in right now.I'll keep you posted on the numbers.Sounds nasty though.can't wait to pull it.I've seen Bill Gude's stuff make power.try it and you might like it.to each his own.

^Sounds like a very nice build. Be sure to make a thread and keep us all updated
I'm hoping that the Gude cams will make good enough power for me not to switch over to Crower 404's
