I've got a 99 dx and whenever I turn my car on the fans in the dash come on full blast. I can't adjust them by turning the **** on the dash. Any one ever have this happen or know how to fix it? Thanks!!

I would say its the switch inside the blower circuit, it is stuck on the hi and is bypassing the resistors in the entire circuit. Im not positive but thats where I would check.

 

I would check the blower motor resistor first.

Yeah, **** sounds stuck.

If you want it completely off you can try pushing the buttons that control where it goes (vents, vent/floor, floor, ect) so that none of the buttons are really pushed in. Like push the vent button, then push the vent/floor button just enough so that the vent button pops out w/out pushing the vent/floor button all the way in.

Not sure if that will cause the fan to turn off or just prevent air from coming out.
