fog light = yellow or clear?
I know this is mostly personal preference but what about light output? which is better?
edit: i have a black 4th gen lude. i want to get the black stanley lights and amber turn signals. and i am wondering which fog lights will look better. i know the yellow are more expensive but are they actually better?

i prefer yellow because you can actually use it if youre caught in some thick fog. clear or "white" light reflects off the moisture in the air more than yellow light does

Its all a matter of what each person likes...The yellow ones are only more expensive because people think the look better so the sellers mark them up. Supply < Demand ... Thats the explanation for most JDM prices!
more pics! More pics!!!

i like the look with the yellow stock headlight bulbs and the whole amber/yellow lighted front.
but if i switch to hyper white bulds for a clear white headlight output would it look better with the clear ones??
keep up the poll

the whole yellow fog, amber blinkers, yellow everything is still a strong trend in effect like were altezzas and all clear plastic stuff back in the days. I even spotted a few ricers pushing the envelope with the new yellow headlight bulbs, I usually look at the light they emmit in front of their cars and there's almost no light at all, I don't how can they drive at night with those things. In general, I call this trend "Yellow Fever" just for fun. To answer your question I think either clear or yellow will function the same during fog because the beam pattern is the same, if you had a wider pattern beam it will be better, but since they are the same thing only different color, it won't make a difference, there was a thread about this debate a while ago and it was determined that the pattern is what matters, not the color. If you look at new cars in general not all have their foglights in yellow color. If I was you I would go with the one I like the most as far as looks, because the function will be the same for both. If you ask people here to vote, then Yellow will win due to the fever heh hehhe
It's the truth. It's like asking people to pick a lip over a R33 bumper when the bodykit era was in effect you will get about 95% votes on the bumper and 5% votes for the lip. So just go with what you like. Just my 2 cents

criticism is a strong trend in effect like was positivity back in the days. I even saw some guy on tv whose sole purpose was to criticise. In general, I call this trend "stupid" just for fun.
Get off the critical bandwagon, I have yellow foglights on my car because yellow foglights appeal to me, not because they appeal to racerx next to me on the highway.
