WTB: 96-00 black hatch w/AC and 5 spd.
Props to you for holding out for so long for the right car and not settling on something. You've been looking for a long time. My car sounds perfect for you but I'm not ready to sell it just yet. Plus it's white, not black. But, not too long ago you were looking for a white one. Good luck.
i love white but i already had that 99 EX white coupe. i like silver, white and black but for some moronic reason i have my heart set on black. i have no ******* clue why
. i found a 00 white CX clean titled but no damn AC. ive also found a 00 black one with AC but its a damn auto. plus its only got 33k on it so they want a grip. im not looking to rip anyone off but honestly a bank is only going to loan you what the car is worth period. plus when i can go to my credit union and get 5% why would i go elsewhere to finance a higher total amount at a higher interest rate.

When I bought my EK from my friend I financed it for higher than what it was worth. They asked why the car cost as much as it did and I told them about the mods and what not and they were ok w/ that. They just wanted to know why. Mine has A/C too
well arent you a badass
. thanks for the bump.
yes i have been looking for a long time, way too long. im patient. ill come across one eventually. ive changed my car selection so much but my wife really wants a 96+. of course i want the 99-00 more but then in the end thats more money and i found a OEM lip for a 96-98 that looks just as good. of course ill end up with CTR headlights and ill repaint the thing but i dont want to do a complete color change. thats alot of work and it never is the same as coming from teh factory when you change colors.

bump because i went and checked out a car yesterday at a dealership and they wanted 13K for it. brand new it sold for 12.2k in 00. needed a new rear bumper (cracked) a couple small dents but other than that it was ok decent condition.
dang...I got lucky. I just got one in vancouver with 75000 miles for 4700 that has a brand new black paint job, a/c, p.s., and si wheels. Check http://www.portland.craigslist.org thats where I found it!
i think i saw that one. i look at craigslist daily. my biggest problem is i live on the eastside so even if i see one getting to the westside of the state to "look" can get spendy real quickly.
my only trip to the west side was a total bust all the way out to sequim roughly 6-7 hours and arriving to a total POS car. talk about pissed off, the car was nothing like the pics he sent me and i even had cash in hand.
HAHA, yeah i went up to check out one...and he threw a rod thru the block on his way to meet me. 6 hours there and back for nothing. Guess it saved me a POS tho! Good luck with your search.
thanks man, that dealership called me and i told him what the asking price that they told me on sunday was. the guy that called said hes been away from the office and knew nothing about it. i told him what was wrong with the car just by looking and what the car was worth. he said when hes back at the office tomorrow he will give me a call. might have some potential there.
