Before going any further, go back to the seller,
Ask more questions get more pics,
Get pics of the motor, under the car everything
And ask questions, plently of questions.

Good Luck

Edit: is that the only picture you have?
the car looks pretty nice,

Definetely has some alignemnt issues with the hood it looks like from the pic. Also, it might have some paint matching problems it looks like.

Thats the way its supose to be, Its the new "JDM venting hood" fab,
You put spacers and/or washers in the rear and it allows the engine bay to cool.
Just some fyi

Wow is all im gonna say...I have a lot more heat in my engine bay with 463 whp than that motor does and my engine bay stays cool enough.

Guess the "JDM vending hood" fab isnt my cup o' tea

Did he really say it is stock????

It has a 5 lug conversion, JDM front end, looks like paint or alignment issues with the fender/door area. It is lowered on something, and I am going to guess that is has at least I/H/E. And with all of that being said I am sure this was not a all show no go car. It has been driven hard.

If you really are interested you need to get lots of information and pictures. Maintance records, records for all of the aftermarket parts and labor....etc

I met up with the owner of this car over the weekend to buy an fpr off of him. The car is clean, although the paint on the front end doesnt match....but honestly, I would only pay $7k IF the car was in mint condition. If I really wanted that car, I'd offer $5k max. This is how I see it: ($2k for ITR front end/grill/lip, $1500 for ITR 5 lug + wheels, which equals to $3500 in modifications from what we can see).

I'd probably price that at $7k or a little under. Ask for a LOT more info than that...i can't even name them off the top of my head, i'd want a LOT of details.

i'd stay away from heavily modified vehicles unless you're prepared to handle unexpected fixes and problems. Usually they're hack jobs. The only time i would buy a modified vehicle is if the previous owner has a lot of documentation, recommended by a friend, or i knew him personally. Just my $0.02

personally ive learned my lesson buying modified used cars, i just bought a 94 gsr from a 72 year old man and dont have any problems at all, every modified car ive bought has had pricey problems. the bonus is mine had 115k miles and i got it for 6k.
