Default In the market for an '06 RSX TypeS

Hey there, RSX owners.

I have a friend that I am helping to purchase an RSX Type S. What have you all payed for your vehicles as far as an out the door price? I need to know what I can work with when I'm helping him to negotiate prices. Any help with this is appreciated, as he will be getting the car within the next two days. MSRP for '06s I believe is about 23,845.00 plus tax and tags. I'm pretty sure they can be had for a tad lower than this.

Thanks in Advance,
Negs

I just want to know what people have paid for theirs. Are they being had for less than msrp? If so, how much less? That sort of thing.

24OTD? I'm wondering if that's the best one can get a TypeS for? Any others out there?

I bought mine 2 weeks ago for $500 over invoice... which is $22,800 before tax and license. You might be able to get a better deal but I didnt feel like looking all over the place. There were no other NBP type-s' in nor cal. I had to wait over a month for mine to come in from Japan. But $500 is nothing when you are financing, so you might not want to push any lower than that. Also they jus had a new special for 2.9 APR !! When I bought mine the lowest rate available was 4.9.

Okie dokie... well by and large (so far at least) 24otd seems like the magic number. It sort of strikes me as odd, though. I thought for sure they could be had for a tad less, somewhere in the 23k range.

Thank you for all the help, guys and gals. My friend was successful in purchasing his 06 RSX-S in Magnesium. He was well taken care of at Planet Acura, in the city of Downey. It's a great car, I really really want to purchase one of my own now! haha

Go to Keyes Acura, ask for Steve Kim (internet manager)

I purchased 2 cars from them, my 05 RSX-S and my girls 06 TSX. Both quick and easy purchases, no hassle, no bullshit.

I paid 24,000 even OTD for my 05-S. They threw in all seasoned floormats, wheel locks, mud flaps, door edge card, trunk tray, and a $50 gift cert to the parts department, which I spent on an OEM Aluminum shift ****.
