Default Would EK9 Mugen TL Fit a Type R, less restrictive than type R TL ?

I was looking at a EK9 twinloop and B pipe and thought that the B pipe looked to be the same diameter all the way from the Cat.

1. Does anyone know if this would fit on a type R ?

2. Can anyone confirm that EK9 piping is also 60.5mm or 2.5 for EK9 TL's

3. If you do need to mod the B pipe, would you be able to make the cat longer instead ? say get a 200 cell cat but lengthen it instead of the B pipe or muffler ?

Pics attached what do you guys think ?

Uh no it isn't....

Mugen ITR midpipe after the main resonator is bigger.... evidenced by the fact that you cannot bolt the Mugen muffler up to the stock midpipe as it uses a larger donut gasket.

You can make the midpipe fit on the ITR if you modify the middle hangers.

The muffler will not work unless you chop the pipe in half and add length. It's too short.

The cat should always be able to be lengthened as you can weld pipe to it. In short, it's too much work.

I'd get T1-R or just full custom 2.5in. instead.
