I'm about to turbo my teg
I'm about to turbo charge my 97 integra gs and i'm wonder if i need a fuel rail or not, if so should i go with an aem or is there something better i should be looking at.
I believe the stock fuel rail can support a pretty good amount of power (over 300whp). Injectors are a larger concern on a forced induction car. As for aftermarket fuel rails, I like the look of the AEM, and the STR rails. Unfortunately I haven't used any aftermarket fuel rails (I have had no need to).
The injector are more important then the fuel rail. But to me every little thing you put on the car will help imo. Just be sure to get injector and fuel regulator, keep in mind you might need to change your fuel pump too. depending on how much power you making. good luck
No, do not waste ur money on a fuel rail...
stock fuel rail can support in excess of 500hp
a after market fuel rail is only a perk when u have a Fuel Pressure gauge adn u can have it hooked directly to this.
save ur money as for fuel management u will require a tune(please!)
larger injectors(tune or hack required b/c stock injector driver cant handle larger injectors stock)
Fuel pump
and not needed but a nice thing to have - FPR ( fuel pressure regulator)
