Default G2 boosted, HMT for life.

The install went down in Xenocron's garage on sunday, with the homemadeturbo.com NE crew spoonfeeding me my first turbo.
Hits 6 psi at 4k in 2nd, fun as expletive to drive, exactly what I wanted. THEORETICALLY, I can stay out of boost around town :think: .
Anyways, here is the info, and some pics.


**** I have:
Vaccum lines 5$
Random piping/couplers/clapms for IC 20$
.60/.80 Garret *Possibly a GT28E* 100$
Oil lines and most of the kit...will have it ready soon. 20$ + 10$ hotsex oil return
Boost Gauge installed 25$
Oil Press gauge installed 30$
Resistor Box 0$
Falken Azenis rt615's sitting in my garage 140$
Chip for my ECU 23$
Hotsex Manifold/DP 360$ paid
Xenocron styles 2.5inch exhaust 300$ paid
Manual Boost Controller 15$
Saab FMIC 50$
NGK BKRE7's or whatever, the ones all the cool kids are using. 35$
XTD Stage 3 Clutch kit 150$
Piping/welding 50$
Half Rad (thanks Tim!) 60$
450 CC's 50$
1g BOV 45$
Tune 150$

ehh, they look ok....but id rather have a weld that looked like **** and was strong then the other way around.

those kinda of welds have good chance of cracking or leack over time. cause breads car on the surface, not melted down with the surface. oh what iam i kidding....what do i know..lol

Haha, you guys are just jealous. My next build will be an hmt one too, but with a forged engine so I can make full racing kiddies cry.

jealous? lol i had a 12.5 daily driven integra with full interior. i'm jealous about nothing on your car. and i'm sure no one else is jealous of your ngrrigged masterpiece.

HMT builds may take more skill, but they just show what kind of skills you have. Obviously this guy can't weld.

whoever said somethign about who cares how a weld looks as long as it is strong? well a good indication of strong welds is how they look, you sould have repeating ripples all the way around, not globs of crap that will cause problems, other wise this is what i think of yoru setup:

Yeah it is pretty hacked up actually lol, someone needs a tig welder + experience.

What exactly are these two pipes doing anyways?
And it also looks like you'd need to take them out if you ever took the turbo out.
