I'm about to swap in a jdm d15 sohc vtec into my 89 civic hatch. I'm not looking for a rocket, but 125hp should prove to be a fun daily driver. Does anyone here have any comments (likes/dislikes) about this engine?? Like I said, I'll never be looking for 250whp out of this engine. I'm looking at pure $/hp ratios, and I can get this engine very cheap. I'll be putting in an SI transmission too.

So, the way I look at it, by the time I buy a b18a and mounts and shifter linkage and all the other stuff, I could have this engine with enough bolt-ons to more than make up for the lesser hp.
