Im planning to cut my springs about 1.5 inches. Your thoughts and opinions on it. would it mess up my shocks, how would the ride be. durability . ect. let me know what you think. THanks

yes, in time you will eventually blow your shocks, the ride would be bouncier than it is right now, and its not recommended. If I were you, I'd wait and save up $100 or so and get some actual lowering springs. People sell used lowering springs for pretty cheap these days.

Do not cut your springs.

Ride quality will suck, it will probably be bouncy as hell. And as iH8RICERZ said you will probably blow your shocks. Just save up some money and pick up a used set of springs and shocks.

Remember do it once and do it right.

I'd rather buy $50 springs on eBay than to cut them!

I wouldn't buy the offbrands on ebay I would looked for a used set of decent springs, even new lowering springs are pretty cheap. and at least you know they are all set at the same height. check ebay for name brand I bet you can get a good deal.

don't go cheap on suspension,
in the long run it'll cost you more, swapping another set after your shocks blow

Dont waste your money. Why would you want to buy a suspension that would last only 6 months and then have to replace it later on down the line. Your just throwing money away.

Yes even lowering your car an 1.5 will eventually blow your shocks.

Don't go the cheap route, I bought my car with Ebay coilovers and stock struts. It's extremely bouncy, I am just going to replace the shocks and put the stock springs on unless I find a really good deal.
