Default K20a3 w/a2 cams video

Here is a video of the car I put those cams into. The rev limiter is set to 9000rpm and you can hear it bounce off that numerous times. Enjoy

It is a stock K20a3 engine with a2 cams + rockers with Inlinepro dual springs w/titanium retainers.

I thought the problem with the a3 block is that it [shouldn't] be revved past 8k. This being due to the fact the crank isn't balanced from the factory or something to that nature. Anyhow, that is wicked.

I dunno, maybe this stuff is going to help raise the market value...

I'll sell mine for two grand!

(nah, I don't think it'll change at all, really)

There's a guy on ephatch that built an a3 that had crank walk.
Props for being inovative, but I don't think it'll last.

Crank walk is usually due to a heavy duty clutch plate. If the clutch has a heavy plate every time you are pushing hard on the clutch it pushes right on to the thrust washers in the motor. Ask him what kind of clutch we was running?

I've seen and built hundreds of honda motors and I have never had a problem with the thrust washers or crank as long as it didn't have a heavy plate or dual diaphram clutch in it.

I have no worries about the longevity of this set up.

Why would there be no VTEC crossover?

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I know next to nothing about K's.
